Schartec Porte 150 Double Swing Gate Opener
The Porte 150 swing gate opener is Schartec’s popular entry-level model. It’s ideal for smaller, lighter swing gates up to 4 m wide (2 x 2 m). The maximum permitted leaf weight is 150 kg (per leaf). The peak force of the dual swing gate operator is 1500 N.
Innovative Technology
The soft-start and soft-stop function protects the gearbox, helping extend the lifespan of both the gate and the operator. An automatic closing function can also be configured in the control unit of Schartec swing gate openers. A key feature for many users is the pedestrian mode, allowing one gate leaf to open separately to let people pass through. Maximum safety is ensured by the motor's integrated obstacle detection. If the gate meets an obstruction, it not only stops but reverses as well. This function protects against injury to adults, children, or animals. Up to two safety beams can be connected for additional safety.
IMPORTANT before purchase!
- The Porte swing gate openers use mechanical limit switches (not electronic). Depending on installation, you must either a) install a mechanical gate stop for the OPEN and/or CLOSE positions, or b) allow the pistons to fully extend and retract. Our accessories include a set with an end stop for the close position and an electric lock or alternatively, two mechanical stoppers as a set.
- The Porte openers are only compatible with Schartec SR-2, Schartec SR-4, Schartec T10, and Schartec T11 remote controls.
- The maximum gate leaf height of 2 m must not be exceeded. For double-leaf garage doors, use a garage door opener with swing gate fitting.

The A and B installation dimensions must be strictly observed (see diagram). Please check if your installation site allows for this.
- For fully filled gate leaves, the Schartec electric lock is essential due to wind load effects.
Important notes on selection and installation:
- Ensure compliance with DIN EN 13241 regulations.
- Check the maximum gate panel infill (recommended: 30 to 50%) considering the wind loads in your area.
- Gates with full panel infill are not suitable for automated operation.
- Check installation dimensions on the gate post, especially the maximum depth between the posts.

IMPORTANT! Our swing gate openers comply with the latest European safety rollback standards for obstacle detection. As a result, the control system is highly sensitive. Please check before purchase whether your gate mechanics are intact and whether the gate has been serviced. The gate should move smoothly and evenly and must be operable by hand without resistance, otherwise the safety rollback may be triggered, causing the gate to reverse during operation.
