Schartec Porte 300 Swing Gate Opener, 2-leaf
The Schartec Porte 300 professional swing gate opener is suitable for 2-leaf swing gates with a width of 6 m (2 x 3 m). The maximum allowable weight per gate leaf is 300 kg. With a peak force of 3000 N, it is ideal for medium-sized driveway gates.
Innovative Technology
The soft-start and soft-stop function protects the gear mechanism and thus extends the lifespan of the gate and opener. Additionally, automatic closing is configurable via the control unit of the Schartec swing gate openers. Another important feature for many customers is the pedestrian mode, which allows only one leaf to open, e.g., to let pedestrians pass through. For maximum safety, the integrated force cut-off ensures that if the gate encounters an obstacle, not only does the opener stop, it also reverses the gate. This function helps prevent serious injuries to adults, children, or animals. For added safety, the Schartec swing gate openers can connect to up to two photoelectric safety sensors.

This protects against impacts and damage from UV rays. The front mountings of all Schartec swing gate openers are also made of sturdy die-cast metal.

IMPORTANT before purchasing!
- The Porte swing gate openers have mechanical end stops (not electronic). Therefore, depending on your installation, you must either a) install a mechanical end stop for the OPEN and/or CLOSE position, or b) ensure that the piston rods can fully extend and retract. You can find a set of end stop for closed position and electric lock in our accessories.
- The Porte openers are only compatible with Schartec SR-2 and SR-4 remote controls.
- The maximum gate leaf height of 2 m must not be exceeded. For 2-leaf garage doors, please use a garage door opener with swing gate fitting.

The A and B dimensions must be strictly observed (see image). Please check beforehand whether your installation allows for this.
- For fully covered gate leaves, the Schartec electric lock is mandatory due to wind loads.
Important notes for selection and installation:
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of DIN EN 13241.
- Check the maximum gate infill percentage (recommended: 30 to 50%) while considering the wind loads in your region.
- Gates with a fully enclosed surface are not suitable for automated operation.

IMPORTANT! Our swing gate openers comply with the latest European safety standards for obstacle detection with automatic reverse. As a result, the control unit responds very sensitively. Please check before purchasing whether your gate mechanics are in good condition and whether the gate has been maintained. The gate must move smoothly and without jerks and should be easy to operate manually, otherwise the safety reverse function may be triggered and cause the gate to reverse when activated.
