Warranty Terms and Conditions
Unless expressly agreed otherwise below, the statutory warranty law applies. If the delivered item is defective, we shall first provide warranty at our discretion either by remedying the defect (repair) or by delivering a defect-free item (replacement).
The above limitations and time restrictions do not apply to claims for damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents:
- in cases of injury to life, body, or health
- in cases of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty or fraud
- in case of breach of essential contractual obligations, whose fulfillment is necessary for the proper execution of the contract and on which the contractual partner regularly relies (cardinal obligations)
- within the scope of a warranty promise, if agreed
- insofar as the scope of the Product Liability Act applies
The warranty period is not extended by making a warranty claim.
Conditions
The warranty claim is valid only in the country where the device was purchased. The goods must have been purchased through the sales channels specified by the manufacturer. The warranty claim applies only to damages to the contract item itself.
The warranty becomes void if the buyer is in default of payment or if the defect is not claimed in writing immediately after it is discovered. If a product version is no longer available from the manufacturer, a replacement product of comparable quality and price will be offered. If a comparable product is not available, reasonable monetary compensation may be provided at the manufacturer’s discretion. No further claims can be derived from this warranty, in particular no claims for damages of any kind or rights of set-off or retention.
The purchase receipt serves as proof of your warranty claim.
