Schartec Porte 150 Double-Leaf Swing Gate Operator – Series 4
The Porte 150 swing gate operator is Schartec’s popular entry-level model. It is ideally suited to smaller and lighter swing gates up to 4 m wide (2 x 2 m). The maximum permissible gate leaf weight is 275 kg per leaf. The peak force of the double-leaf swing gate operator is 2,500 N.
Innovative Technology
The soft-start and soft-stop function reduces strain on the gearbox, helping to extend the service life of both the gate and the operator. An automatic closing function can also be configured via the control unit of Schartec swing gate operators.
Another important feature for many customers is the pedestrian opening function, which allows one gate leaf to be opened separately, for example to allow pedestrians to pass through.
For maximum safety, the motor features integrated force cut-off. If the gate encounters an obstacle, the operator not only stops but also reverses the gate. This function helps protect adults, children and animals from serious injury. For additional safety, up to two photocells can also be connected to Schartec swing gate operators.
IMPORTANT before purchasing!
- Porte operators are only compatible with Schartec T10, Schartec T11 and Schartec Tiny remote controls.
- The maximum gate leaf height of 2 m must not be exceeded. For double-leaf garage doors, please use a garage door operator with suitable hinged-door fittings.
- The A and B dimensions must be strictly observed (see image). Please check in advance whether your installation situation allows these dimensions to be met.
- For gate leaves with a high degree of solid infill, a Schartec electric lock is mandatory due to wind loads.
Important information regarding selection and installation:
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of DIN EN 13241.
- Check the maximum gate leaf infill (recommended: 30 to 50%), taking into account the wind loads in your region.
- Gates with fully solid infill are not suitable for automated operation.
- The installation dimensions at the gate post, particularly the maximum installation depth of the gate between the posts, are crucial.

CAUTION! Our swing gate operators comply with the latest European standards regarding safety reversal when an obstacle is detected. As a result, the control system reacts very sensitively. Before purchasing, please check that your gate mechanism is in good working order and that the gate has been properly maintained. The gate should move smoothly and without jerking and should be easy to operate manually. Otherwise, the safety reversal function may be triggered, causing the gate to reverse during operation.
