Schartec Jet 600 Sliding Gate Operator – Quality Made in the EU
The Jet 600 is Schartec’s bestselling sliding gate operator. With a pulling force of 400 N, it can easily move sliding gates up to 6 m wide and 2 m high. The maximum gate weight is 600 kg. The two included remote controls are compact and therefore fit easily into any trouser pocket or storage compartment in your vehicle.
Innovative Technology
The soft-start and soft-stop function reduces strain on the gearbox and therefore helps to extend the service life of both the gate and the operator. An automatic closing function can also be configured via the control unit of Schartec sliding gate operators. Another important feature for many customers is the partial-opening function. This means the sliding gate does not always have to be opened fully. For maximum safety, the motor features an integrated force cut-off. If the gate encounters an obstacle, the operator not only stops but also reverses the gate. The included photocell makes the Schartec Jet 600 even safer and provides additional protection against serious injury to adults, children or animals.

Smooth operation is provided by a strong steel shaft combined with a steel pinion (Module 4). A wide range of adjustment options is also included, making the Jet 600 a highly versatile all-rounder.

Important information regarding selection and installation:
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of DIN EN 13241.
- Check the maximum gate leaf infill (recommended: 30 to 50%), taking into account the wind loads in your region.
- Gates with fully solid infill are not suitable for automated operation.
- The installation dimensions at the gate post, particularly the maximum installation depth of the gate between the posts, are crucial.

CAUTION! Our sliding gate operators comply with the latest European standards regarding safety reversal when an obstacle is detected. As a result, the control system reacts very sensitively. Before purchasing, please check that your gate mechanism is in good working order and that the gate has been properly maintained. The gate should move smoothly and without jerking and should be easy to operate manually. Otherwise, the safety reversal function may be triggered, causing the gate to reverse during operation.
