Schartec Photoelectric Sensor with Integrated Warning Light
The Schartec SPCL is a one-way photoelectric sensor with an integrated signal light. It is suitable for use with garage door openers, as well as swing and sliding gate systems. It serves as an additional safety feature that stops the drive when an obstacle is detected, identifying objects without contact before the gate reaches them. This offers extra protection for children, pets, and objects against injury or damage. The built-in warning light alerts pedestrians to gate movement, offering significantly more safety than standard sensors alone.
Universal One-Way Sensor with Adjustable Angle
A key feature of the Schartec SPCL is the adjustable angle on both the transmitter and receiver. This allows for precise alignment, even if they are not positioned directly opposite each other. The Schartec sensor is also compatible with third-party systems (except Hörmann openers).
Please check your opener’s manual to see whether it uses a 'normally closed (NC)' or 'normally open (NO)' contact.
- If your opener uses a 'normally closed' contact, connect the NC and COM terminals to the designated terminals for sensors.
- If your opener uses a 'normally open' contact, connect the NO and COM terminals accordingly.
- Terminal layout may vary depending on the manufacturer of the opener.
