Schartec SPCM Mini Photoelectric Sensor for Schartec Gate Operators and Other Brands
The Schartec SPCM is a one-way photoelectric sensor that can be used with garage door operators, as well as swing gate and sliding gate operators. It serves as an additional safety device for the drive's load disconnection and detects obstacles without contact before the gate closes. This protects children, animals, and objects from injury or damage.
The Schartec photoelectric sensor is particularly distinguished by its high range and compact design, making it easy to install in the entrance area of the gate.
The Schartec SPCM photoelectric sensor can also be easily used with other brands (excluding Hörmann operators).
Check your operator's manual to see if the operator has a 'Normally Closed or Normally Open contact'.
- If the operator has a 'Normally Closed contact', connect the NC and COM terminals to the designated terminals on your operator for the photoelectric sensor.
- If the operator has a 'Normally Open contact', connect the NO and COM terminals to the designated terminals on your operator for the photoelectric sensor.
- The terminal configuration on the operator for the photoelectric sensor depends on the manufacturer of the operator.
ATTENTION! Not compatible with SCHARTEC Prime Garage Door Openers! For SCHARTEC Prime please use Photocell SCHARTEC PLS1!
